Facebook Data Deletion Instructions

What will be deleted

Upon a verified deletion request, we delete or anonymize Facebook-associated personal data stored in our systems, including: account identifiers received from Facebook (e.g., user ID), profile name/email obtained during sign-in (if stored), session/auth tokens, and related account profile data within the app. Content you explicitly published as public (e.g., public catalogs) may remain available to others until you remove or change visibility, but will no longer be associated to your personal identity once anonymized.

How to request deletion

1. In-App Request (Recommended): While logged in, open Account Settings → Privacy & Deletion and click Delete Account & Data. Confirm the request.
2. Without Login: Email us at privacy@lbook.work with the subject “Facebook Data Deletion” and include:
   • Your full name (as in Facebook)
   • Your Facebook email (if available)
   • Your Facebook User ID (if known)
   • Any additional details to help us locate your account
   We may request additional information to verify your identity and ownership of the account.

If you no longer have access to your Facebook account, please include any proof of ownership you can provide. We may be unable to process deletion without sufficient verification.

Processing timelines

• We deactivate access immediately after confirming your request.
• Active systems: personal data removed or anonymized within 30 days.
• Backups: securely purged on rotation within up to 180 days (backups are not used for any processing in the meantime).
• We retain only what is required by law (e.g., billing records, security logs).

Scope and limitations

• This page relates specifically to data connected with Facebook Login on lbook.work.
• For general data subject rights (access, correction, portability, etc.), see our Privacy Policy.
• If you used other sign-in methods or created content visible to collaborators or the public, those items may remain visible until removed or disconnected from your identity.
